Marketing Pond: Join the Free Money Programs

Once you have joined Marketing Pond, your next step is to join the free money programs.

There are quite a few of them, but you don’t have to sign up for all of them in one go. But it is important to sign up for all of them before you start promoting Marketing Pond yourself. The reason is that each of the money making programs has some sort of referral bonus. If you’re signed up for all the programs, when you refer someone to Marketing Pond and they sign up for all the programs, you get the referral bonuses (which vary from program to program) for all the programs in Marketing Pond.

But if you’re not signed up for a program, those referral bonuses go to whoever recruited you (or their sponsor, if they aren’t signed up for the program). It just doesn’t make sense to not sign up for all the programs.

I’ll describe here the way that Marketing Pond works for signing up for programs, using one of the programs as an example. The rest of the programs follow the same process.

Log into Marketing Pond, and you should find yourself on the Programs & Stats page. If not, click the top link in the left menu to go there.

You’ll see a list of programs in the pond, both money making and traffic generating. Here’s the current one at the top of the page as I’m writing this (programs do sometimes get added to the pond, so what you see might not be exactly like this).

What this is showing you is that one of the money making programs in the Pond is called ClixSense.  A short description of the program is given, along with the program’s logo. 

Note that the description says ClixSense pays you 10% of the revenue of those you sponsor.  That means if someone you sponor makes $30 in a month, you make $3 for that same month, on top of whatever you personally made.

To sign up for ClixSense, click the name of the program (circled in red in the above screenshot, but not in Marketing Pond itself).  This opens a new window and takes you to the ClixSense website where you can sign up. 

Signing up for all programs generally has the same process.  You give them your email and some other information, and they send a confirmation email.  You click on a link in the email and your signup completes. 

As part of the signup process, you may be asked to enter some number of interest areas (e.g. “cooking”, “business”, etc). Enter as many interest areas as you are allowed to, since this controls how many advertisements you will be able to get paid to click. Be careful about some programs that put in dummy interests to catch people who are using automated software to sign up for all interests. Dummy interests will say something like “I am a cheater”, or “Delete my account”. Sign up for as many legitimate interests as you can (if a program doesn’t give a limit, sign up for all the legitimate interests).

Once you are signed up with ClixSense, you should come back to Marketing Pond and enter your id number in the edit field (circled in red below). 

Note that just to the right of the edit field it says ID Number.  This is a hint that what should be entered is some numeric ID that ClixSense assigns to you.  This will generally be in the email you receive from the program.

Other programs do not assign a numeric ID to you, but instead use a username you select.  In the Programs & Stats screen, those programs will have User Name to the right of the edit field.

So enter your Clix Sense ID number into the edit field.  Scroll all the way down the page to the Update button and click it.

Sometimes, the Marketing Pond website will time you out and give you an error (if it took too long to signup for the program).  If that happens, just log back into Marketing Pond, go back to the Programs & Stats page, enter your ID Number (or Username, depending on the program), and click Update. 

Now, your ID is associated with ClixSense in Marketing Pond.  If you recruit someone to Marketing Pond, and they sign up for ClixSense the way you just did, they’ll count as your referral in ClixSense. 

If you are already a member of one of the programs, that’s okay.  Just enter your ID number (or Username) and click Update.  You’ll still get the referral credits when your Marketing Pond referrals sign up through Marketing Pond.

The different categories of programs you want to sign up for first are:

• Click to earn programs
• International PTR
• Easy Money
• Free Opportunity

Do not worry yet about the Free Advertising programs.  You’ll have your hands full signing up for all the free money programs.
