What Do I Do When I Get a Referral?

First, celebrate!

Referrals are the way to build your free money business. In each of the programs in Marketing Pond, you earn a little from your referrals. While the amount isn’t much, as you get more referrals you continue to earn from them, building an income that will be much larger than what you could earn on your own through the programs.

Second, contact your new referral and welcome them to Marketing Pond.

Many people join Marketing Pond and are unsure how to start. A referral who doesn’t join any programs or earn any money doesn’t make you any money. What we want is for our referrals to be successful, that way we make money, too. What other business works best when we help new members to be successful?

In your welcome email, send your referrals the link to this Marketing Pond guide. That will help those who are confused by what do to first.

Keep in contact with your referrals using the Email Downline feature in your Marketing Pond back office. Using that feature you can send an email through Marketing Pond to all of your referrals once every seven days. Here are some ways to motivate them in this email:

Motivate by Example

Tell them what offers you’ve completed that week at Inbox Dollars, and how much you earned for each. If you received a payout from any of the other programs, tell them which ones and how much. If you had a successful advertising campaign and gained new referrals, share the details of the campaign with your referrals so they can duplicate it.

There should be no secrets between you and your referrals. You don’t lose anything by helping them succeed, instead you gain since they become more active and confident. Some of the programs in Marketing Pond pay you referral bonuses more than one level deep, so you’ll earn from your referrals’ referrals.

Offer to Help

Getting some referrals is a great motivator, so offer to setup a team rotator for your referrals and send some advertising to the rotator. Put yourself in the rotator, too. Offer extra places in the rotator for your top referrals (most clicks made in Clix Sense, for example).

Premium upgrades at the programs help you to earn more money, but often referrals can’t afford them. Offer to give them part or all of the commission you’ll earn on the upgrade so they get a discount on the upgrade. You’ll lose the upgrade commission, but your referral will earn more money which gives you better commissions in the long-term.

Hold Contests

Offer a prize for the most clicks in a program, most offers completed at Inbox Dollars, etc. The prize can be money, or a dedicated advertising campaign just for that referral, etc.

Keeping your referrals motivated is as much a part of your Marketing Pond business as earning money by clicking on advertisements, and is the best way to make significant money through the programs.
