Yuwie

This is perhaps the most promising of the Marketing Pond programs.

Yuwie provides the same sort of features as My Space, so you can write a blog, participate in discussion forums (clubs), upload pictures, comment on your friends’ blogs and pictures, etc. My Space makes money by selling advertising, and brings in a huge amount of money this way.

Yuwie goes one step further and shares the advertising money with its members. Rather than go into detail about all this, I’ll direct you to a blog post I’ve done about getting the most out of Yuwie.

If you decide to participate fully in Yuwie, you would be wise to try to get referrals directly to Yuwie, along with your normal efforts to get referrals to Marketing Pond. The reason is that Ywuie appeals to a larger audience than Marketing Pond. More people want to make money by interacting socially with friends than want to make money clicking on ads.

The earnings potential is also quite large with Yuwie, but only if you get a deep tree of referrals. So recruiting people directly to Yuwie makes sense if you’re going to work the program for income.

You can always communicate with your referrals to Yuwie through private messages and let them know about Marketing Pond.

Also, note that advertising programs on Yuwie itself is against the Yuwie terms of service. Don’t post ads in public places, and make anything you send privately a “Thought you’d like this” sort of message. Don’t lose out on your future earning potential by trying to market on Yuwie.
